That was UNTIL I decided to make money.. on the internet! I went to surveymoneymaker dot net, and started filling in surveys for cash, and surely I've been far more able to pay my bills! I'm so glad, I did this!! I think that many organizations are struggling to find the right combination to promote team collaboration. There are definitely a lot of wholes in the workforce that need to be patched up.

I wanted to get your input on the topic of tools used to build team collaboration and productivity? What do you think are the best resources to use? I have been seeing businesses use less traditional methods such Twitter or Facebook, even Yammer, social games and LMS platforms like Wheeldo to connect teams together.

Anyway, I'm anxious to hear your thoughts.

Re: Do You Have the Guts?

Great post at last time

Re: Essential Tools for Building Your Small Business

The blog was absolutely fantastic! I was just thinking about this on my drive this morning. How I miss my mom a lot, but frankly I wouldn't have accomplished most of what I have in the last 8 years if she was still alive. Because I spent so much time trying to manage *her* anxiety with my choices. And she was afraid of basically *everything.*

I wish I'd had the opportunity to learn to do what I needed to do, and leave her expectations for her to deal with. To get there on my own, instead of being pushed there by loss.
I did get that "I no longer give a crap what anyone else thinks of me" attitude eventually. But I will warn you, be careful what you wish for. The circumstances that brought me to that point are not really something I'd wish on someone else.

Really good, thought provoking post. Hope you're doing well. :)

Re: Are We There Yet?

Great post David! I think sometimes we are so determined to distinguish the result we have set in mind that we forget how much we have learn during the process. I'm sort of at the point where I'm realizing I'm done following other people's maps and am starting to get a sense of where *I* want to go. I stopped reading that book about 47% of the way through, so will now press on, as you seem to have received some good stuff from it.

I think one way that we stop following our own map is when we get this emotional feeling of "well, who cares? No one's really watching what I do anyway."

Obviously, WE should care, and WE are watching ourselves, but sometimes, it's hard to get that mindset to stick.

Thanks for the thought-provoking post.

Re: 8 Basic Strategies for Effective Team Building

The hardest challenge to any team leader is getting a group of individuals to work as a team and place their personal goal keep aside and to think organisation at large.

Re: It’s All About Attitude

Thank you!
